Lease to own: How it works
Lease to own gives you flexibility to pay over time. We partner with Olympus Lending, based in Salt Lake City, Utah who can provide a wide range of payment options to suit your needs. The application is simple, Olympus provides dedicated support, and best of all no credit is needed, only an open and active checking account that is at least 90 days old. Must be 18 years or older with a SSN or ITIN, and have no more than 3 NSF fees in the last 90 days.
Approval process is fast and easy
Place your online order and select Lease to Own at checkout. This will reserve your MoonBike and we will begin prepping it for you.
A MoonBikes representative will contact you to review your order, billing and shipping address, delivery timing, complete the MoonBikes purchase order agreement with you, and help initiate your Lease to Own application.
Once Olympus reviews your application, they will provide you with an approval decision by the next business day, often sooner! Once approved, Olympus lending will send you a contract for you to sign, agreeing to terms. Review the terms carefully, and then sign.
In most cases a down payment is not required. However, if you choose to provide a down payment to lower your monthly payment, or if Olympus requires it, then a MoonBikes representative will reach out to you to collect that down payment prior to finalizing and shipping your order.
Next steps
Once your lease to own application is approved, you signed the Olympus contract, you sign MoonBikes purchase order agreement, and MoonBikes has collected any down payment owed from you if any, MoonBikes will ship your bike to you, including all options and accessories ordered, usually shipped out within 3 days via transport carrier. Accessories and options may ship separately via FedEx.
