The Resort at Paws Up Announces a New Winter Adventure: MoonBikes

America’s Private National Park® Reimagines Winter Adventure with the World’s First Electric Snowbike

Greenough, Montana – October 24, 2022 – The Resort at Paws Up®, Montana’s premier luxury ranch resort set on 37,000 sprawling acres in western Montana, is thrilled to announce its partnership with MoonBikes, the world’s first electric snowbike. The innovative, zero-emission MoonBikes will offer guests an exciting new way to immerse themselves in the unspoiled Private National Park, giving new meaning to sustainable adventure.

Known for its expansive property in the vast Blackfoot Valley of western Montana, The Resort at Paws Up features world-class cuisine and lodging in the form of 28 luxury homes and 36 seasonal glamping tents, each individually decorated in a rustic chic style with iconic American West furnishings and artwork hand-selected by the owners.

Starting in mid-December, guests will be able to book a special excursion package to experience the thrill of a MoonBike exploration ride through The Resort’s 60 square miles of forested winter wonderland.

Conceived and manufactured in the French Alps, MoonBikes are perfectly suited for the rugged wilderness surrounding The Resort, appealing to mountain lovers as the ultimate adventure without disturbing the peaceful snowscape. An emission-free alternative to a traditional snowmobile with the torque and power of an electric vehicle, Founder and CEO Nicolas Muron’s creation is changing the future of winter exploration and e-mobility for snow enthusiasts.

“When I came across MoonBikes in my research, I knew immediately that it was a match made in heaven for Paws Up,” said General Manager of the Wilderness Outpost Will Smith. “Not only do our brands share key values of sustainability, thrill-seeking adventure and luxury, but Paws Up is the perfect playground for guests to experience MoonBikes in all their glory. I know our guests will love them as much as I do.”

Paws Up will provide ten sleek all-black versions of the battery-operated MoonBikes for guests 16 and older to enjoy as a guided activity, in addition to the current 50+ activities available on-property. Only one-third the size of an average snowmobile and ultra-lightweight, MoonBikes has democratized snow mobility. MoonBikes’ revolutionary design, features a sleek front ski and rear track, providing users the freedom of an e-bike with the power of a motorcycle. When combined with an almost-silent motor, riders are in store for a truly unique experience.

“One of my goals when creating MoonBikes was to discover a way to have fun in winter and embrace the joy of the outdoors. I wanted the snowbikes to appeal to mountain lovers as the ultimate fun adventure experience while on the trail—solo with nature or with friends and family,” comments Muron. “The Resort at Paws Up maintains 37,000 acres of pristine and undeveloped land and in similar fashion to MoonBikes, the preservation of natural resources and eco-conscious recreation is paramount. We can’t wait for their guests to have this unique and memorable experience during their stay”

MoonBike excursions will be available for all on-property guests to book during the winter season, snow permitting. For more information on winter adventures at The Resort at Paws Up, visit www.pawsup.com.
