The French Alps already welcome five MoonBikes parks and as many opportunities to come ride with us!
It is in Tignes, in partnership with Evolution 2, that our first park was born. It was a great success and soon, many resorts contacted us to open areas dedicated to MoonBikes. This new activity is a real opportunity for French resorts with closed ski lifts to diversify their program. Very quickly, the ski resorts of Les Saisies, Flaine, Courchevel and more recently Val d'Isère ordered their first electric snowbikes. All of them now offer MoonBikes tours of 30 or 45 minutes in the snowy landscapes of our mountains.
For many French people, the traditional winter school break at ski stations have fallen by the wayside, although snow has fallen generously throughout the season. But ski resorts have been able to offer alternatives to alpine skiing, which has been hard hit by the Covid-19 crisis. Fortunately, the list of activities to do in the mountains is long, and those despite the closure of ski lifts. Many winter sports have seen their popularity skyrocket, whether it is ski touring, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding or simply hiking. Fun and accessible to the general public, the MoonBike has also impressed many families and groups of friends. It is easy to handle and it takes only a few minutes to feel the thrill of the ride you're looking for!
With very positive feedback, MoonBikes is unanimously approved by resorts and users alike and is already preparing for the next season.
